Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Patient Services
Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients,
providers, and external partners. This role is responsible for
managing a high volume of inbound calls while delivering excellent
customer service, ensuring accurate appointment scheduling, and
supporting clinic operations through effective communication and
coordination. This position is 100% onsite and requires
Arabic/English bilingual fluency . Key Responsibilities Answer a
high volume of inbound calls (approximately 60–80 calls per day )
from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and other medical
facilities. Deliver exceptional customer service by professionally
greeting callers, actively listening, accurately assisting,
routing, and properly closing each call. Schedule, reschedule,
cancel, and edit patient appointments via telephone, SMS, and
messages received through the Patient Portal, following clinic
protocols. Screen and route patient calls to appropriate
departments to ensure accurate registration, appointment
scheduling, and follow-up scheduling within the EMR system. Take
clear, accurate, and detailed messages using internal communication
templates when required. Respond to patient inquiries and needs in
a timely, courteous, and solution-oriented manner. Maintain
effective communication and strong working relationships within the
department and across other departments to support optimal patient
care. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of SY Health
programs, services, and workflows. Meet or exceed departmental
productivity and quality assurance standards. Required Skills &
QualificationsExperience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in
customer service, call center, or a healthcare setting. Language &
Communication Arabic/English bilingual required (verbal fluency).
Strong English written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional
phone etiquette and customer service skills. Excellent
interpersonal and communication abilities. Job Type & Location This
is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and
Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
