Members.Applications Engineering Support Specialist IThe
Applications Engineering Support Specialist I role involves deep
analytical skills as well as strong communication and team skills.
As a part of Manufacturing Solutions Group, which acts as a service
organization within Niagara, for plants and other corporate teams,
the Analyst is expected to be an expert in the Manufacturing
Solutions applications, to manage and maintain them. The Analyst
will work with plants and vendors to troubleshoot any application
related issues to ensure smooth plant operations. The Analyst will
also support new plant roll outs, including training. The Analyst
will also do reporting on historical and/or real-time data. The
role will help an individual develop management skills and enhance
analytical and interpersonal skills.Essential
FunctionsManufacturing Systems SupportWork with various
Manufacturing Solutions applications, including but not limited to
EIT, Shotscope, etc., to provide team member support and assistance
as required by troubleshooting and resolving issues.Evaluate the
performance of the software in terms of navigation, data integrity,
and server performance.Evaluate pain points with current systems
and collaborate with other departments to improve processes and
optimize systems to make them more effective for team members.Make
individual decisions for issue resolutions.Provide necessary
updates and analytical analysis to our leadership team.Issuetrak
Support Act as an Admin for Manufacturing Solutions supported
system applications such as but not limited to EIT, Shotscope,
etc., in the Niagara Issuetrak software.Work with vendor(s), IT and
other department, various plant manufacturing team members,
Production Managers, and CI Manager to resolve issues and provide
feedback to Manufacturing users.Issue Management and Reporting
Present the analysis of all issues when needed and be prepared to
present such data in conference calls/PowerPoint Presentations to
increase visibility for team on issue resolution techniques, common
trends, etc.Generate daily/weekly manufacturing KPI reports and
publish it to our manufacturing leadership teamProject
Documentation and FeedbackProvide project follow up in retrieving
and recording project feedback from the plants.Document project
closure reports with learnings and ongoing action items to include
unresolved pain points.Manufacturing Analysis/ ProjectsWork with
both Plant and Corporate Manufacturing to develop detailed analysis
reports to assist data-driven decision making.Work on special
projects as assigned by the Manufacturing Solutions Manager.25% -
on average travels 1 week out of the monthPlease note this job
