Volt is immediately hiring multiple Structured Package Mechanics for immediate temp to hire employment in the city of Kearny Mesa / San Diego, CA. As a Structured Package Mechanic you will: Install and assembly of mechanical components on gas turbine engines Layout, fabricate and perform assembly of engines and motors Install hydraulic tubing Route cables and wires and perform electrical terminations Cable harnessing and wire harnessing Follow blueprints and drawings Utilize hand tools - specifically wrenches We have full time and temp to hire opportunities. We are hiring for 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm ? 11:30pm). Most openings being available on 2nd shift. LOTS of overtime available. The ideal candidate will have: Mechanical assembly experience ? layout, install, wiring, of larger mechanical pieces ? anyone who has worked with wrenches and hand tools Experience working as a auto mechanic , diesel mechanic , aviation mechanic , engine mechanic , or HVAC is preferred but not required on engines Shipyard or military experience ideal Ability to read blueprints and drawings Experience using hand tools - wrenches Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test Salary: 25.00-25.75/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
