MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Level A to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of transportation vehicles. As an integral part of our maintenance team, this role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and safety of our services across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automotive repair and a passion for problem-solving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on vehicles, including buses, shuttles, and other transportation equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. Respond to breakdowns and emergency situations with timeliness and professionalism. Adhere to all organizational and industry regulations regarding safety and environmental compliance. Document maintenance and repair actions, maintaining accurate records for all work performed. Collaborate with the maintenance team to share knowledge and assist with training of junior mechanics. Expertise in diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems repair. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) is strongly preferred. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
