IT Project Manager
The IT Project Manager is a key contributor that coordinates and
manages entire projects and/or teams in the IT Department.
Assembles resources from different teams that will make up the
project team. He/she plans, schedules, assigns individual
responsibilities and ensures timely completion of the project.
Serves as a liaison between team members, business units, IT
management and vendors. Coordinates with IT Management and takes
action to identify needs, resolve conflicts, develop analysis and
select solutions. The primary role of the project manager is to
ensure projects are able to be completed within the original
timeframe defined and to ensure the project's success. Qualified
candidates are expected to have 6+ years of experience with
Financial/ERP/Transportation applications, demand/supply planning,
manufacturing execution, distribution and warehousing, HRMS and
Business Intelligence applications. He/she will have led at least
one major implementation project and/or software systems
upgrade.
Essential Functions
* Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle with project
resources: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and
delivery.
* Responsible for tracking project progress against milestones,
budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares
reports to senior management. Manage, mentor and motivate team
involved directly and indirectly in project.
* Organize staff activities as necessary to ensure project
success
* Define and execute strategic and tactical goals, aligned with
businesses priorities, objectives and goals.
* Define and execute staff development plans.
* Manage project budgets.
* Provide continuous status updates to IT Management on project
status and issues.
* Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all
activities regarding external consultants or vendors.
* Escalate roadblocks as they are identified to ensure they are
resolved timely.

Qualifications
* Minimum Qualifications:
* 6 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing
environment
* 6 Years - Experience in Position
* 4 Years - Experience managing people/projects
* Experience may include a combination of work experience and
education
* Preferred Qualifications:
* 10+ Years- Experience in Field or similar manufacturing
environment
* 10+ Years - Experience working in Position
* 6 Years - Experience managing people/projects
* Experience may include a combination of work experience and
education

* Extensive experience with in Oracle applications (EBS, OTM,
etc.), Manhattan/E80 Warehouse Management, HRMS and Supply/Demand
Planning.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Project Management - coordinates projects; communicates changes
and progress; completes projects on time; budget management;
manages project team activities.
* Oral Communication - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive
or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds
well to questions
Education
* Minimum Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
