The Director, Group Operations is responsible for ensuring the continuous and effective operation of all physician group practice offices directly assigned to this position. This may include primary care and/or specialty care locations across various sites. The role involves collaborating with the Chief Operating Officer, front-line managers, and staff to enhance the quality of care, improve financial performance, and boost satisfaction among patients, physicians, and employees.In partnership with medical staff leadership-such as the Senior Medical Director, Physician Department Chairs, and Physician Team Leaders-the Director develops and implements strategic business plans for current and future departments and programs. The role requires leading by example, working with the team to reduce infrastructure costs, and promoting high-value performance.   • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • At least five years of progressive management experience in physician practices, clinics, or hospital departments
  • Formal lean training preferred
  • Experience managing and motivating effective teams
  • Knowledge of budgeting, contract negotiations, business planning, and practice management/EHR systems preferred
  • Experience leading and implementing projects
  • Experience in relevant medical specialties or residency/medical education operations preferred
