Job Description:

**REMOTE**CA applicants ONLYFunction as a Human Resources Assistant representing 24-Hour Medical Staffing Services by providing operational related activities and duties needed by the company. You will administration of the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Human Resource functions including Compliance and contribute to the accomplishment of Human Resource practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that supports our company's core values and our Community with H.E.A.R.T initiative.Responsibilities and Duties: Human Resources:

  • Run E-Verify for all new hires including field and corporate staff
  • Approve and send to Payroll to process any updated payroll documents that HP's request for.
  • Conduct background checks OIG, EPLS and upload TSS result
  • Enter all HP candidate's information into LabCorp website and other healthcare screening vendors as needed
  • Coordinate I9 completion
  • Submit all new hire information (W4, I9, DD forms, start date, position, pay info) to payroll
  • Send employee portal invite and welcome email for field and corporate staff
  • Submit list of new hires for WOTC and EDD
  • Assist in planning of quarterly all-staff virtual meet up.
  • Assist HR Manager in development of the Community with H.E.A.R.T culture program that reaches out to all active Corporate and Field Staff Employees.
  • Coordinate company events and recognition/wellness programs
  • Assist in WC Claims such as preparing initial reporting and follow up with Mangers/employee and report incident to WC carrier
  • Assist with employee benefits portal for new hires and send welcome/enrollment email
  • Assist with employee benefits employee questions and open enrollment with HR Manager
  • Assist HR Manager with recruiting needs such as job postings, job descriptions and prescreen applicantsCompliance:
    • Clearance to work requests: audit HP's by completing an employee file checklist and send clearance email if all TJC and necessary client credentials are available and compliant. If not cleared to work, inform Credentialing of missing/expired items.
    • Create (either electronic or physical, depending on the audit requirements) audit folders along with an employee file checklist for The Joint Commission Audit and client audits.
    • Upload new client documents to TSS.Education and Knowledge: - Associate's Degree or equivalent - Minimum 2-3 years in Human Resource's - Has knowledge of Industry, commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. - Must possess excellent customer service skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong work ethic, team player, high integrity, keeps information confidential - Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and in using ATS - Self-starter and goal oriented - Ability to multitask with accuracy and meet deadlinesPC skills include typing a minimum of 40+ wpm with accuracy, MS Word & ExcelJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:
