this captivating city! Overview We are seeking a compassionate and
skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare
team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to
patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing
practices. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in providing
high-quality care to patients in diverse settings, including
hospitals, clinics, and emergency rooms. Your expertise will
contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and support
the healthcare team in delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision
of registered nurses and physicians. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety
protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or
concerns to the healthcare team. Assist with medical procedures,
including tube feeding and wound care. Maintain accurate medical
documentation and coding, adhering to ICD-9 standards. Collaborate
with case management teams to develop and implement patient care
plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and
post-discharge instructions. Ensure a clean and safe environment
for patients by following infection control guidelines. Experience
Previous experience in an emergency room, medical-surgical unit,
operating room (OR), or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity
with medical documentation practices and coding is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively
within a multidisciplinary team. A valid LVN license in the state
of practice is required. Experience in case management is a plus
