(OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A part-time role is
available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to
support elementary students in a school setting. This position
offers a valuable opportunity to work directly with young learners,
providing therapeutic interventions that promote their academic and
developmental success over the course of the full semester. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to
elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff Monitor
student progress and document outcomes according to school
guidelines Participate in team meetings and engage with families to
support student needs Provide onsite therapy in an educational
environment Qualifications: Active Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant license in California Proven experience working in
school-based occupational therapy settings Ability to manage an
elementary caseload effectively Strong communication skills for
collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
Flexibility to work part-time hours (20-25 hours per week) at the
school site Position Details: Location: Long Beach, CA (Elementary
school setting) Duration: Contract through June 12, 2026 Start

ideal for a motivated COTA with school-based experience who seeks a
