Job DescriptionSalary: Who we need:Zenlayer is looking for a Network Software Engineer to join our Product team! Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of networking technology and will work alongside our Product and Solutions teams to define appropriate product solutions for our customers!This position is based out of our Diamond Bar office, which operates on a hybrid schedule and requires COVID vaccination for all onsite employees.What you'll do:

• Working closely with all levels of internal staff and external users to inquire about and solve existing system problems.
• Designing networks and related data center solutions based on existing or new technologies, covering systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Evaluating off-shelf hardware-based and software-based network and server products.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems. Documenting the solutions for internal operations.
• Analyzing network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
• Configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology related field of study with a network engineering focus.
  • 5+ years of working experience in network technology.
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including routers, switches, controllers and network virtual appliances. Familiar with Cisco, and/or Juniper devices.
  • CCNA or equivalent is required. CCIE is a plus.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols like VxLAN, VLAN, BGP, MPLS, etc.
  • Familiar with software system, including VM, container, and Linux Operating System.
