Are you seeking your next employment opportunity? 804Technology is currently assisting a client in Simi Valley, CA with hiring an Informational Service Support Analyst. This is a 6 month contract that could extend beyond that & is paying between $25.00 to $30.00 an hour. In addition, this will be working on-site from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Informational Service Support Analyst I provides expertise in the day-to-day consultation, training, trouble-shooting and problem-solving for internal computer users. Identifies and addresses complex usability problems, while monitoring and managing user accounts. JOB CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Preforms complex work to establish and maintain information systems, databases and interfaces to meet business objectives. Provides expertise in day-to-day consultation, training, trouble-shooting and problem-solving for internal computer users Responds to and resolves computer problems quickly to ensure maximum uptime and minimum disruption to user activity Identifies and addresses complex usability problems, while monitoring and managing user accounts Trains end-user in the use and applicability of various computer systems and hardware Participates in Information Services projects, performs analysis and implements multi-function office systems Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs and makes recommendations to increase efficiency to meet business needs Other responsibilities as assigned The primary duties of this job require highly-specialized skill in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications; the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; the design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems; or a combination of these duties. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance SKILLS:Good technical expertise and experience in consultation, training, trouble-shooting and complex problem-solving for internal computer users Excellent analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve problems Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tool Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
