You will work on high-profile cases involving product liability, which will require a strong understanding of aviation litigation, mass torts, and class action lawsuits. Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K Job Details Responsibilities: Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in product liability litigation. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, summaries, status reports, and final case reports. Conduct legal research and analysis of case issues and provide advice on litigation strategy. Prepare and present cases for trial, including jury selection, opening and closing arguments, direct and cross-examinations. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and arbitration when appropriate. Manage all aspects of litigation, including depositions, pretrial hearings, and discovery. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best outcome for clients. Keep up-to-date with changes in law and inform clients or colleagues of changes that affect their cases. Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school and a member in good standing with any state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product liability litigation, with a focus on aviation litigation preferred. Proven experience as a litigator with significant trial experience. Strong legal research and writing skills, including the ability to draft complex legal documents. Familiarity with mass torts and class action lawsuits. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful mediation. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and other legal professionals. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
