Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year A bit about us: Our client is a very well-established and respected law firm located in Orange County, CA and for decades now they have been specializing in personal injury and defect cases pertaining to automotive, truck, motorcycle, catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Job Details They currently employ about 3 dozen Attorneys most of which have tremendous tenure with the firm and they are currently looking to add another Associate Attorney to the team. Responsibilities: Assist in providing case evaluation. Legal support and guidance Assist in preparing litigation reports and risk assessments May attend hearings, depositions, and other court appearances Drafting legal documents such as depositions, pleadings, and contracts Drafting and finalizing complaints, motions to compel and discovery responses Assist in negotiating low-level settlements and attend mediations Assist in interviewing client witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements Prepare, organize and retrieve case files including evidence, exhibits, depositions, etc. Assist Attorneys with trial preparation which may include attending trials and hearings Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases Requirements: 1 years of litigation experience Credentials from an ABA accredited law school Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment Achieve high level of productivity with great accuracy Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress to the team Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Interested in hearing more?
