Job Description:
Arlon Graphics, LLC, a leader in the visual communications,
automotive, and industrial markets, is seeking a skilled
Manufacturing Colorist to join our dynamic team in Placentia,
California. This role is pivotal in ensuring the consistency,
quality, and accuracy of color in our pressure-sensitive materials.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for color nuances, a
strong understanding of color theory, and a professional approach
to color matching and management. Develop and adjust color formulas
and mixes to achieve desired colors and consistency. Work closely
with production teams to understand color requirements and ensure
accurate color reproduction in final products. Regularly test
colors for consistency during the production process, making
adjustments as necessary. Maintain detailed records of color
formulations and test results. Collaborate with R&D and Quality
Assurance teams to innovate and improve color matching techniques
and technologies. Adhere to all company safety standards and
environmental regulations regarding colorant use and disposal.
Expertise in color theory and color matching. Proficiency in using
colorimeters, spectrophotometers, and other color measurement
tools. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with
various departments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Proficient in using industry-standard software for color
design and analysis. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Color Management
Professional (CMP) is preferred. Relevant training or certification
in color theory, colorimetry, or related areas.
