management, facilitydesign, order fulfilment systems, material flow
automation, WMS, and warehousingand service distribution
experience. Thescope includes parts arriving at Tesla's network of
bulk metering warehousesand service parts distribution centers
through delivery to downstream manufacturingplants and service

Driveefforts to improve material flow design standards and
principles for Teslas RegionalService Parts and E-commerce
Collaborate with DC Opsteam to identify local improvement
opportunities, lead concept development, prototype testing,
engineering design, andcollaboration with 3rd parties on system
build, integration testing, projectmanagement, implementation, and
handoff to operations at Tesla locations.
Own implementation of theEngineering teams portfolio of
network-wide project goals related to warehouseautomation and
facility and material flow design.
Define future businessrequirements, define hardware (MHE) and
software (WCS, WMS) requirements, andconduct financial analyses
Evaluate existing teamsperformance and skill set and instill a
culture of continuous learning andenhance teams capabilities.
Collaborate withstakeholder teams like Warehouse Operations,
Facilities Engineering, ITApplication Developers, Supply Chain
Automation Developers, Production Control,Material Planning, MHE
Vendors, and 3PLs.
Display high levels ofexpertise in applying principles of
project management, preferably in alignmentwith frameworks from
PMI, and lead the organization from conceptual stage tolaunch and
Develop reports and tools using BI applicationsto inform
operational decisions, track performance and health KPIs,
andautomate repetitive work.
Masters degree orBachelors degree with relevant experience in
Operations Research, IndustrialEngineering, Systems Engineering,
Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
4+ years of experiencein retail or service parts distribution,
manufacturing warehousing, supplychain operations, logistics,
warehousing, or manufacturing.
2+years of executing multi-million dollar capital projects
including experiencein green-field-to-go-live.
Advancedknowledge of warehouse and distribution processes, and
material flowmethodologies including sequencing, kitting, repack,
Proficientin best practices and effective solutions from within
the industry or derivedfrom other industries.
