Description Robert Half is trying to fill an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position with an organization that offers a stimulating work environment among a team of experienced, motivated professionals. The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Diamond Bar, California area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.How you will make an impact- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Help with internal and external audits as required- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies- Execute additional tasks as needed- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Produce full-cycle A/P- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling Requirements - Expertise in Payable Invoices- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)- Deep understanding of Vendor Statements- Microsoft Excel experience- Reconcile Vendor Statements experience- Great attention to detail- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
