Job Description:
IT HELPDESK SPECIALIST Sierra Cybernetics is seeking an IT Help
Desk Specialist to support our South Coast Air Quality Management
District (AQMD) client in Diamond Bar, CA to provide IT
software/hardware maintenance and operational help desk assistance.
Position is temporary, expected to be 12 months or more, fulltime,
with approximately half-time on-site and half-time remote. Open to
US citizens, green card holders, or H1-B visa holders.
Qualifications include:One or two years experience or equivalent
training with experience in a Tier 1 Helpdesk role Proficiency in
Microsoft Windows 10 software, Microsoft Office Professional Plus
Suite 2013 and above (Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint),
Office365. Experience in diagnosing and repair of computer
hardware, software (PC and Server) and network malfunctions.
Experience in upgrading PC (hardware and software). Experience in
providing technical help desk support to users regarding software
and hardware problems; providing tier 1 support requests by remote
session. Experience in maintaining hardware equipment and parts
inventory; picking up hardware equipment. Experience in performing
software installations/upgrades/patches. --- Experience in
preparing system documentation Good verbal and written
communication skills. This maintenance task includes supporting the
operations team, as detailed below:Provide technical help desk
support Data entry (into online forms) Install software
programs/patch in the PC. Setup and install PC hardware equipment,
including printers, laptops, and monitors. Maintain hardware
equipment inventory (picking up old PC's and printers)
