Services ("PTS") organization provides personal trust products and
services to Schwab's clients, including individual investors,
beneficiaries, RIAs, and corporate fiduciaries. PTS products and
services are provided through three separate legal entities;
Charles Schwab Trust Company, Charles Schwab Trust Company of
Delaware, and Charles Schwab &Co. PTS products cover the full
fiduciary, agency, and custody spectrum, including fiduciary trust
administration and investment management, advised trustee, trusteed
IRA, administrative agency, trust reporting, and trust outsourcing.
PTS currently serves $27 billion in assets under management,
administration, and custody, meeting the needs of over 1,000
independent RIAs and over 8,000 individual families.What you are
good atThe Senior Specialist, Trust Transition and Support is
responsible for supporting the trust company with reporting and
record-keeping requirements. You will be the primary point of
contact for the trust company/advisors who is a custody assets with
Schwab and provide "best in class" service. The job requires both
direct contact with internal and external clients and some
operational work that facilitates the completion of the trustees'
requests.
- Proactively consult and educate clients. Clients consist of
Financial Advisors and Trust firms
- Research and respond to client issues related to forms,
transfers, opening accounts and various other areas of trust and
broker dealer knowledge and support
- Collaborate with internal partners in delivery of timely and
accurate information in response to client inquiries and/or service
issues Schwab follows the three lines of defense model of risk
governance. The Senior Specialist, Trust Transition and Support is
a first line of defense position for CSTC and CSTCD and assures
compliance with all trust company and broker dealer policies and
procedures. -
- Highly client oriented with shown experience in client
servicing and relationship management
- Prioritizing, managing, and processing complex requests to
ensure items are completed within established time frames
- Providing superior follow-up, along with excellent
interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data input
- Working in a team setting to service client needs efficiently
and optimally
- Ability to act as a resource for development of the team's
effectiveness
- Leading and/or actively participating in projects impacting
Personal Trust Services
- Anticipating potential risk issues and escalating as neededWhat
you have
- 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial industry,
including customer service experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7,63 and 9/10 licenses desired
but not required
- Understanding of personal trust products and trust
administration concepts preferred
- Highly client-oriented
- Creative problem solver with strong problem-solving
abilities
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; able to gather data
and use it to develop logical and well-conceived solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including
ability to synthesize data, develop recommendations, influence
partners and report on status. Ability to communicate optimally to
varying levels across the organization and build strong
partnerships
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
and handle multiple opposing priorities within established
deadlines
- Ability to embrace change and innovation
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
- Positive attitude, team orientation, passion, professionalism,
