Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist to
provide coding services for multiple specialties and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide various components of coding services to support
clients
Perform accurate analysis of medical records for appropriate coding
assignments
Maintain quality and productivity standards while communicating
professionally with clients
Required Qualifications
Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or
CCS-P), with a preference for CCS
Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
Advanced working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Must maintain ongoing productivity and quality scores of 95% or
higher
