Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Coding Educator and Data
Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis and generate reports to ensure documentation
and coding compliance
Perform audits of coding and medical record documentation,
identifying areas for improvement
Create and implement education plans for coders, CDIs, and
providers based on findings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
experience, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
One of the following certifications is required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS,
CDIP, or CCDS
Broad knowledge of complex disease processes, preferably in an
inpatient setting
Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, Official Coding Guidelines, and
Medicare Billing Rules
Strong leadership skills and competency in the teaching/learning
process
