responsive.io. About the Role Director of Product Marketing –
Partner, Industry, and Services We’re hiring a product marketing
leader to join our high-performing team and help us rapidly scale
the business. Reporting to the Vice President, Product Marketing,
this is an ideal role for someone who thrives in growth-oriented
ambiguous environments and can stand up new programs independently.
We’re looking for a strategic generalist – part operator, part
builder – who can jump in, take ownership, and drive foundational
programs across several high-impact areas including partner,
industry, and services marketing. This role is about determining
what matters most, asking smart questions, surfacing tradeoffs, and
focusing the team on the highest-impact work. You’ll be a trusted
advisor on the product marketing leadership team and a key partner
to leaders in sales, product, partnerships, and customer success.
Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to scale the functions you
lead and build out dedicated teams. You’ll join an agile,
results-focused marketing organization that connects with customers
and embraces AI, accelerating Responsive’s relevance and value as a
pivotal technology in customers’ GTM tech stack. What Youll Do
Operate as a Strategic Partner in Emerging Growth Areas:
Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to develop and
execute product marketing strategies that foster innovation and
drive business growth. Establish Foundation for Partner and Channel
Growth: Partner with the VP of Strategic Alliances to cultivate and
manage relationships with key partners, focusing on revenue
generation and expanding market reach. Drive Co-Marketing
Initiatives with Key Partners: Lead co-marketing efforts with
priority partners, strengthening relationships with partner
organizations marketing teams and scaling partner programs
effectively. Prioritize Industry Investments and Develop GTM Plans:
Recommend strategies for prioritizing investments in core
industries and execute go-to-market plans to achieve growth targets
aligned with business priorities. Enable Commercial Teams and
Expand Offerings: Train commercial teams to effectively position
and sell the expanded portfolio of offerings and partnerships,
empowering them to succeed across diverse markets. Drive Thought
Leadership and Speaking Engagements: Serve as a primary
representative of Responsive at industry events, showcasing
expertise and thought leadership to customers, prospects, analysts,
and executives Scale Growth and Operational Effectiveness with AI:
Identify opportunities to leverage AI to scale and accelerate
impact across coverage areas, driving efficiency and innovation
within the organization. Who You Are A sharp, strategic thinker
with a track record of building high-impact programs from the
ground up (0 to 1). Skilled at creating clarity from ambiguity -
able to prioritize quickly, gain traction fast, and focus teams on
what matters most. A strong communicator who brings clarity and
conviction, whether guiding contractors, aligning cross-functional
teams, or engaging with VP and C-level stakeholders. Outcome-driven
and relationship-oriented - you don’t just get things done, you get
the right things done, with an eye toward long-term impact and
collaboration. Comfortable navigating high-growth, fast-changing
environments where the only constant is the high bar for quality,
clarity, and results. A lifelong learner with a global perspective
- curious, coachable, and consistently showing up as a trusted
teammate. Equally effective at strategic thinking and hands-on
execution - you can zoom out or roll up your sleeves as needed.
Bonus: Experience leading go-to-market motions for AI solutions in
the sales/marketing tech stack and scaling platforms / ecosystems.
Experience & Education 10 years of progressive product marketing
experience; B2B SaaS industry experience preferred. 5 years
experience in product marketing with progressive scope and
leadership, including people management experience Proven ability
to lead complex, multi-channel marketing programs from brief to
delivery. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration,
Communications, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree
preferred but not required. What We Offer Responsive uses a
market-based compensation philosophy. A candidate’s starting base
salary will be determined by the specific responsibilities of the
role, as well as job-related skills, experience, qualifications,
location, and current market trends. For this position, the base
salary range is $175,000–$190,000. Our recruiting team will provide
details on the applicable range based on your location during the
hiring process. Please note that this range covers base salary only
and does not include bonuses, equity, or benefits. Responsive
