lists. Overview The Research Associate will expand molecular and
product specific assay development working with the Gene Therapy
Research and Development team. General cellular and molecular
biology proficiency (including experience with PCR and Western
Blot) is required. Skills such as histology, cloning, general
mammalian cell culture, transfection, and familiarity with in vivo
rodent models will be considered advantageous. Responsibilities
Apply molecular biology techniques (cloning, restriction digests)
under the supervision of a senior scientist. Utilize protein
science knowledge to include performing western blots. Perform cell
culture, sterile technique, and transfection. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required.
Graduate degree holders are encouraged to apply. Excellent
communication skills with ability to interact professionally with
colleagues and present research results in written reports and team
presentations. Willingness to learn new techniques and train other
laboratory staff in technical matters. Entrepreneurial spirit, with
strong willingness to take on new challenges required to bring
novel medicines to the clinic. Strict adherence to environmental,
health, and safety guidelines. Salary Range $68,000 - $90,467 a
